As any judge that sits in a traffic court or that handles impaired driving cases knows, a growing number of offenders are using in combination both alcohol and drugs, whether prescription or illegal street drugs. However, unlike alcohol with its established impairment protocol, there is no Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) for the myriad of impairing drugs. In this webinar Judge Peggy Hora (CA) will cover basic information regarding how drugged driving is identified in the field, who and what is a DRE, and sentencing options.
