This course will provide chief judges and court administrators with more advanced practices and procedures they will need to know as they reorganize existing tribal court systems. After attending, participants will be able to recognize the role of chief judges and administrators in creating a competent court system; articulate reasonable performance standards for the operation of tribal courts within key operational areas; implement a succession plan; and create an efficient and organized tribal court that provides justice to individual litigants.

Qualifies as an elective for the Certificate in Judicial Development, Tribal Judicial Skills program.
