New for 2014! This course is designed to provide appellate judges with advanced topics in opinion writing, small group dynamics and collaborative decision-making, law clerk/staff management, how to get the most during oral argument, ethics as they pertain to appellate judges, and other topics of interest to the experienced appellate judge. In addition to structured, interactive presentations from faculty, participants will have several opportunities for peer-to-peer learning.

Qualifies as a requirement for the Certificate in Judicial Development, Dispute Resolution Skills, Special Court Trial Skills and Tribal Judicial Skills programs.
