Does being a judge sometimes increase anxiety and strain on you and/or
your family? This course will help participants identify how job demands
can stress relationships and negatively impact health. Participants will
examine new strategies to manage job responsibilities that will help them
work toward a balanced life on and off the bench. One area of strain is
the recent attacks of judges and their families. This course will also
teach judges how to better protect themselves in their courtrooms and
at home.
Qualifies as an elective in the Certificate in Judicial Development,
Administrative Law Adjudication Skills, General Jurisdiction Trial Skills,
Special Court Trial Skills and Tribal Judicial Skills programs.
