“The judiciary is the final repository of our rights and freedoms. If we can’t ensure these rights and freedoms in a court of law, then we don’t really have them. Without an impartial judiciary we would have anarchy.”

Pillars of Justice Donors

Pillars of Justice

The National Judicial College developed the Pillars of Justice Fund – A Fund for the Future of Justice to meet the increasing needs of the nation’s judiciary with innovative, results-oriented programs and professional development. Support from law firms and corporations allows the NJC to implement new programs and services that will bring positive change to our court system.

We are pleased that several law firms and corporations have committed their support to the Fund. Chevron Corporation, Hunton & Williams, and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, along with others, are making a lasting impact on the future of judicial education through their support. Board of Trustee member, John Frankovich, of the law firm McDonald Carano Wilson LLP, believes in the importance of the Fund. He said, “My law firm contributed to the Pillars of Justice because we understand that the NJC provides the best judicial education in the nation to judges, and the Fund benefits both courts and attorneys by ensuring that cases are handled efficiently and that resolutions are fair and impartial.”

Contributions to the Fund are supporting a Research, Education and Services Fund that provides for the expansion of new courses and updated curricula. The Fund also supports the NJC’s endowment, which provides resources in the long term for the organization and allows for unrestricted support, providing flexibility for scholarship assistance, technology improvements, and other needs that are vital to fulfilling the NJC’s mission.
