All downtown hotels are approximately 1.2 miles from the College. Participants can reach the College by the free Sierra Spirit bus, a self-pay taxi or a 20 minute walk up Virginia Street and across the University of Nevada campus.

Catch the Sierra Spirit
Pause at any of the Sierra Spirit’s 32 convenient stops, and in less than 10 minutes, a bright yellow Sierra Spirit bus will arrive. From the University at the north end of the route, to the Nevada Museum of Art on the south end of downtown, explore the heart of Reno on the free Sierra Spirit. Service begins at 7:00 a.m. every day.

NJC course participants will find Reno offers several casino and non-casino hotels with a wide range of amenities and services. NJC does not promote or endorse any particular hotel (unless there is a host hotel designation). The properties listed below are those closest to the NJC campus or that have extended exclusive amenity packages for NJC participants.

Check the Course Hotel Code list to see if a host hotel is designated for the course you plan to attend in Reno.
