Tratos, Visionary By Gretchen S. Alt, Development Director Mark Tratos, managing shareholder of the Greenberg Traurig LLP office in Las Vegas, Nevada is committed to advancing justice. As the Vice-Chair of the NJC's Board of Visitors, he continues to show his staunch support of the organization as he has for many previous years. "I am dedicated to supporting the NJC with both my pocketbook and my time because its work is enhancing our justice system, which is imperative to upholding freedom and justice throughout the nation," said Tratos. Through his work with the Board of Visitors, Tratos provides leadership, encouragement and support to the overall resource development program of the NJC. He is a prominent attorney who was recognized as the Top Intellectual Property Lawyer in the State of Nevada in 1999 and 2006 and has been named among the Best Lawyers in America for the past half decade. Additionally, Tratos is a scholar and teacher. He annually writes the Nevada chapter of the International Trademark Association's State Trademark and Unfair Competition Law Treatise and is the author of "Entertainment on the Internet" for the New York Bar Association's Entertainment Law Treatise. He teaches Cyber Law, Entertainment Law and Right of Privacy and Publicity for the Boyd School of Law at UNLV. The NJC Board of Visitors are leaders in the legal and judicial fields as well as government, education, corporate, community and nonprofit sectors. They share a desire to see our country achieve a truly just society. In addition to providing leadership, advice and counsel, they also assist with nationwide fundraising efforts and provide their own annual gift.
