Job Posting: Executive Director/CEO Wanted for the Texas Center for the Judiciary 3/16/10 Amicus Search Group has been retained on an exclusive basis to recruit an Executive Director/CEO for the Texas Center for the Judiciary. The Center is a respected 501(c)(3) organization devoted to the provision of leadership in education and training to the Texas judiciary. The position is based in Austin, Texas and will require a minimum of 10 years experience, including experience in the administration of continuing professional education, and, ideally, a JD from an accredited law school. The successful candidate will serve as the organization's CEO, assuming specific responsibility for: • planning, organizing and supervising comprehensive educational conferences, seminars, programs and workshops Candidates must also be able to travel as needed. Qualified candidates will have at least 10 years of progressive experience in administration management, including a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience. In addition, candidates should possess an understanding of budgetary and legislative process. Candidates must also possess proven ability in strategic planning, budgeting and grant writing. A JD or similar advanced degree is strongly preferred.
