Free Online DWI Course, July 16-September 7

With funding from the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration, the NJC and the National Drug Court Institute are offering a free online course for both new and seasoned DWI court professionals called DWI Court Enhancement: A Web-Based Course. In this course the student will become acquainted with the Guiding Principles for DWI Courts, the DWI Court target population, case management techniques such as clinical assessment, treatment, community supervision and many more elements directly related to their day-to-day court activities. Issues addressed include the role of the judge and the evaluation and sustainability of the court’s community partnerships. This online course offers not only basic information, but a wealth of resources. 

Once registered, the student will have eight weeks to complete six online study modules. A Certificate of Completion, issued by NJC/NDCI is available for those participants who successfully complete a final online assessment.
