Regional Judicial Outreach Position Open 6/15/2007 Would you like to work with the American Bar Association Judicial Division, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and other judges to promote traffic safety, improve community outreach, provide quality education and promote confidence and trust in the judiciary? If your answer is “yes” then an excellent opportunity is available to you. The Regional Judicial Outreach Liaison will work within NHTSA’s Region 10 (Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington), to educate and mobilize support for NHTSA’s traffic safety activities, helping to meet its goal of reducing the annual highway traffic fatality rate to no more that 1.0 deaths per 100 million vehicle miles of travel by 2011. If you are a sitting or retired judge and you live in any of the states listed above, please fill out the attached application and return it to ABA/Judicial Division, Attn: Gena Taylor, 321 N.
