Board of Trustees to Meet in Los Angeles this Week
Meeting will feature prominent speakers

A hosted reception and presentation will be held this Thursday, October 25 in Los Angeles for The National Judicial College's Board of Trustees. The reception is hosted by Trustee Thomas V. Girardi, Esq. of Girardi & Keese. Patricia Glaser, Esq. of Christensen, Glaser, Fink, Jacobs, Weil & Shapiro, LLP and Charles Patterson, Esq. of Morrison & Foerster, LLP are supporting the event.

A panel presentation titled, “By the Time the Case Starts, are All Opinions Made? The Press and the Law” will be made by guest panelists Linda C. Deutsch, legal affairs reporter for the Associated Press, John T. Nockleby, professor of law and director of the Civil Justice Program at Loyola Law School, and Robert Shapiro, Esq. of Christensen, Glaser, Fink, Jacobs, Weil & Shapiro, LLP.

The meeting will also welcome attendees to support the Pillars of Justice Fund, a fund to provide our nation’s judiciary with innovative, results-oriented programs and professional development.
