Tribal Traffic Issues: A Faculty Development Workshop 11/21/2007 This four-day course on February 11-14, 2008 will provide participants with basic training in the area of tribal traffic issues, and adult learning theory. It will give them an opportunity to prepare and present the curriculum in their own styles and formats. After attending this course, participants will be able to recognize and manage the unique issues surrounding tribal traffic cases; identify sentencing alternatives that have cultural significance for the American Indian and Alaska Native populations; describe the importance of judicial outreach and the canons of ethics applicable to judicial outreach efforts; and effectively plan and deliver a presentation on the subject of tribal traffic issues.
