Edwin Lewis Presley, an alumnus and faculty member and a former Texas Municipal Court judge, passed away at his home in Benbrook, Texas, in December.
Presley served the Benbrook Municipal Court for 30 years and the City of Westworth Village Municipal Court for 25 years.
Born in 1939, he first attended the College in 1977 and took a dozen courses overall. He joined the NJC faculty in 1980 and taught more than 10 courses, specializing in Special Court Jurisdiction. He was also a director and served as president of the Texas Municipal Courts Association.
