Scholarships make it possible for judges to attend courses at The National Judicial College. Individuals, foundations, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), state IOLTA funds, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the State Justice Institute (SJI) and state traffic safety agencies provide financial assistance for judicial education and training for the nation’s judiciary. Individual states may also have sources of funding available.

To apply for financial assistance to attend NJC programs, please contact: Rebecca Bluemer, Scholarship Officer at (800) 25-JUDGE.

 

Four steps to apply for financial assistance

1. Choose appropriate course for your jurisdiction or career path.

2. Contact your state judicial educator and your court administrator for any available state funds.

3. Contact the NJC at (800) 25-JUDGE for information on scholarships.

4. Fill out the Scholarship Request Form and the Scholarship Officer will contact you as soon as possible.
