TRAFFIC COURSES & PROGRAMS
The National Judicial College invites the nation's traffic court judges, magistrates and hearing officers who currently handle motor vehicle-related cases to attend cutting-edge traffic safety courses at the NJC. The NJC has also developed Traffic Safety Faculty Development Workshops to train judges in presentation skills, adult learning theory and the use of cutting-edge technology. Upon request, The National Judicial College will work with state entities, judicial education offices and others to make these courses available in specific jurisdictions.
For 2012, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will be offering scholarships for traffic court judges for three NJC courses. These courses are Special Court Jurisdiction, Special Court Jurisdiction: Advanced and Impaired Driving Case Essentials.
For more information on Commercial Driver's Licensing courses from the NJC, visit the CDL Website at www.cdlresources.org.
