In partnership with the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of South Korea, The National Judicial College will present the second Judicial Renaissance Week in Seoul, South Korea. After the many challenges of the last few years, the theme of the 2022 Judicial Renaissance Week is resilience. During this exciting course, participants will explore resilience through art, literature, and cultural experiences. Education sessions will include discussions of judicial wellness through mindfulness, field trips to Korean temples, and exploration of resilience during times of war with a visit to the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea. Participants will explore American and Korean cultural stories of resilience.
Course $3499
During this course, you will learn to:
- Explore international perspectives on the theme of resilience,
- Analyze how art, literature, and film empower human civilization to overcome adversity,
- Recognize the role that popular culture plays in meeting the challenges facing humanity; and
- Identify the current challenges that will summon humankind’s resilience during the rest of the 21st Century and beyond.
This course is eligible for 34 CJE credit hours.
