This webcast will cover a broad range of considerations and cases that may come before state courts regarding wildlife, and the use of animals for some areas of entertainment. While we will not spend time on boilerplate laws, we will address issues regarding hunting, conservation, species preservation, and human-wildlife interactions that have come before the courts. We will also discuss other forms of animal-based entertainment, including animal fighting, the use of animals in films, and zoos and circuses.

At the end of this webcast, you will be able to:

  • Recognize the special laws governing hunting, conservation, preservation, and human-wildlife interaction; and,
  • Discuss the law the govern animals uses in entertainment
