Justice Coaching Center
The National Judicial College entered in to an agreement to acquire the Justice Coaching Center in 2024. Justice Coaching Center founder Dr. Jan Bouch is intimately involved in transitioning the program to the NJC and is training new resiliency coaches for the program.
The Justice Coaching Center strives to develop and train a new generation of judicial leaders to help new and established judges navigate their careers. The program has a comprehensive multiple-layered resiliency program that focuses on a personal balance in managing the technical, emotional, and compassion fatigue associated with the role of judging. The program supports judges in developing insight and awareness to move through a variety of judicial case types and other assignments. The Judicial Coaching Center is a constructive alternative to judicial performance commissions and judges may self-refer or be referred from their presiding judge, court system, or the judicial conduct/commission in their jurisdiction.
The Judicial Coaching Center uses experienced judicial coaches who have undergone a comprehensive Resiliency Coach Training program. Through their extensive training, judicial coaches are accredited and meet the core competencies and ethics standards.
