Hon. Lidia S. Stiglich was appointed to the Nevada Supreme Court by Gov. Brian Sandoval. She previously presided in Reno as a Washoe County District Court judge. She has been a supporter of the NJC and has served as a faculty member 2014.
Hon. Michael Morgan, a longtime faculty member with the NJC, was elected to the North Carolina Supreme Court, defeating incumbent Bob Edmunds. President Obama took the rare step of endorsing Morgan. He has taught more than 25 courses for the NJC dating back to 1993, and he also received the 2014 Payant Award.
