Treatment Court Commissioner Casey Clevenger from Missouri will discuss six steps she has taken in her Treatment Courts to improve access and outcomes for black men in the criminal justice system.

Included in her six steps is the implementation of the H.E.A.T. curriculum. The creator of this curriculum, Mr. Darryl Turpin, will discuss the importance of culturally competent treatment for justice involved black men and how the H.E.A.T program is changing lives. Duration: 75 Minutes
