Please join the National Judicial College as we welcome Aviva Abramovsky as the 12th person and first woman to serve as president of nation’s largest and most prestigious institute for educating and inspiring judges from around the world.

After serving as the dean of the law schools at the University of Idaho and University of Buffalo, President Abramovsky joins the NJC at a critical time for the organization, rule of law, and judicial independence. A fair and impartial judiciary that can apply the law without fear and pressure is essential to a strong democracy and our republic. Judges who attend NJC courses can confidently and efficiently make difficult decisions and rulings.

President Abramovsky has a long history of creating innovative and strategic programs that address the challenges of the day. Come learn more about the NJC and how legal and judicial education will evolve as technology, courts, and the legal field continue to change.
