The Kansas Supreme Court has selected Judge Karen Arnold-Burger to serve as chief judge of the Kansas Court of Appeals.
Judge Arnold-Burger received The National Judicial College’s 2016 V. Robert Payant Award for Teaching Excellence. She is an alumnus of the NJC and has been a member of the faculty since 2000. She was first appointed to the Kansas Court of Appeals in 2011.
