Congratulations to NJC Board of Trustees member Robert L. Parks, who has been designated a Distinguished Fellow by the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.
Parks, principal and founding partner of The Law Offices of Robert L. Parks in Miami, joined our board in 2016. He previously served as chair of the NJC Board of Visitors.
The International Academy of Trial Lawyers has given this designation only 10 times since the academy’s founding in 1954. The academy seeks out fellows who have achieved a career of excellence as shown by their skill in trial and demonstrated by integrity and professionalism.
Parks is a nationally recognized trial attorney with more than 50 years of experience. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and former president of the International Association of Trial Lawyers and the Dade County Bar. In 2017, Parks was the recipient of the Plaintiff Lawyer of the Year Award from the Florida chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
